Brand Announces 3rd Quarter 2008 Safety Awards and Achievements
January 1, 2008 Kennesaw, GA: Brand Energy and Infrastructure Services (“Brand”) is pleased to
announce several safety awards and achievements that were obtained during the third quarter of 2008.
Brand maintains an organization wide steadfast focus on safety awareness and performance. Brand is
proud of its achievements and the employees who make Brand the safe company
that it is.
• Since May 31, 2007 the Brand team at Shell’s Norco Refinery completed 0.46MM labor hours and the Brand team at Motiva’s Norco Refinery completed 0.32MM labor hours, both without a lost-time accident or a recordable.
• The Brand team at ExxonMobil’s Beaumont Refinery has completed 1MM labor hours without a recordable.
• The Brand team at Shell’s Deer Park Refinery has completed more than 1MM safe labor hours and has worked for two years without an OSHA recordable injury.
• Four Brand team members were awarded Safety Employee of the Month Awards from Shell’s Contractor Safety Council at their Puget Sound Refinery. Each employee proactively took action to resolve potentially hazardous situations.
