For our location in Den Helder Offshore, we are seeking an enthusiastic Rope Access L3 IRATA Supervisor.

In this role, you will work offshore. This means working 14 days and then having 14 days off. There are various tasks involved to ensure projects run optimally.

This is a leadership role within our operations with many responsibilities but also the freedom to apply your experience in practice or introduce new ideas within the team. You will carry out work surveys, write Plans of Approach and Risk Analyses with control measures. You will also ensure the application of safety rules and work procedures and act as the first point of contact for the client on site during execution.

You will also:

Perform coating inspections:
Thoroughly and accurately inspect coatings to ensure quality, durability, and compliance with established standards. Identify and report any defects.

Prepare work permits:
Prepare and draft work permits according to applicable guidelines and regulations. Ensure a safe working environment by checking and validating permits in cooperation with the team and other stakeholders.

Write rescue plans:
Develop and document detailed rescue plans that comply with safety standards. This includes assessing emergency situations, determining required resources, and training the team in executing these plans.

Identify and control risks:
Systematically analyze potential workplace risks. Conduct risk assessments and formulate and implement preventive measures to ensure the safety of the team and the project.

Team player with leadership capabilities:
Take on a proactive and supportive role within a team. Communicate effectively, motivate, and guide team members. Take responsibility for managing projects and ensuring objectives are achieved efficiently and on time.
During project execution, you monitor safety, progress, and budget, but you will also get hands-on when needed. You are the crucial link between internal and external parties.

• You hold a valid IRATA Level 3 certificate;
• You have experience in the offshore industry;
• You have at least MBO 4 work and thinking level;
• You hold a valid VCA VOL certificate or are willing to obtain it shortly;
• You hold a valid First Aid/EHBO certification or are willing to obtain it shortly;
• You have good knowledge of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• You have at least basic computer skills (Email, Word, Excel).
