Challenge

Managing complex logistics at a major construction site

Performance

The European School Munich (ESM) sees its new building as a "place of encounter and education for our youngest young Europeans", which is being built on an area of almost 14,900 m² at Perlacher Forst. Starting in the school year 2019/20, children from all EU member states will be taught here and learn to live together through daily teaching activities in order to maintain a united and peaceful Europe.

40,000 m² wall surfaces, 25,000 m² ceiling and 5,000 m² floor slabs or foundations: this is the simple surface addition of the finished structural elements. But behind these figures stands a large workload. To make the shell construction site run like clockwork, Hünnebeck Projekt Management worked closely with the construction site to develop formwork solutions that were characterized by fast assembly and implementation times and at the same time guaranteed a high level of occupational safety.
